Using a flexible approach enables us to assess our customers' requirements on an individual basis and therefore enables us to provide an accurate and fair cost prior to a project being undertaken.
In order to provide this assessment, CSI Lifecycle Services will request an asset inventory detailling approximate specification and quantities of equipment to be retired. Using the information provided and our extensive contacts within the IT remarketing sector we will advise as to whether there is a fair market value in the equipment, which will be used to offset associated retirement costs.
For older or obsolete equipment with little or no value, CSI Lifecycle Services will simply raise an invoice for the cost of disposal and subject to the customer's authorisation, complete the disposal.
CSI Lifecycle Services recognises that in many cases IT departments do not have the time or resources to carry out an inventory of equipment. In these instances CSI Lifecycle Services can attend a site and carry out this inventory on our customers' behalf, subject to agreeing a nominal fee for this service.
