Data security is one of the top concerns of most IT managers. As numerous scandals shed light on the ugly repercussions of unlawful disposal practices, we make sure that our end-of-life process includes complete data security that is compliant with IT disposal laws.
But, data security is not only jeopardised at the end of lease. Stockpiling equipment at your office can lead to numerous security hazards. Transporting unprotected equipment is equally as dangerous. This is why we strongly believe that data security should start at the desktop.
Once the equipment is received at their maximum security warehouse, each hard drive is cleansed three to seven times, in accordance with U.S. Department of Defense Standards. A verification certificate for each serial number wiped is provided for your records. Any drive that is obsolete is destroyed in a data shredder.
On-site data wiping and shredding with a mobile shredder are also available.
